LTU Teaching technologies with mobile support

·         Mobile Theme and support for Mobile Devices

As the numbers of internet-enabled phones and tablets increase, more and more students will use the LMS via mobile devices.  Phase 2 of the LMS upgrade project will see the introduction of a mobile theme offering better formatting and support for mobile device.

·         PebblePad

La Trobe is planning to upgrade from PebblePad 2.5 to PebblePad 3 in January 2013.  Phase 2 will include a bridge between the LMS and the updated PebblePad system to facilitate single sign on.

PebblePad will be accessible via a mobile friendly version.

·         Collaborate

It is also planned to implement a bridge between the LMS and Collaborate.

Collaborate 12 will be accessible via a mobile application.
